Sorry, you're incorrect! It's fiction.
As long as your property is not north of east or west then it will be suitable for solar panels. It is true that south facing solar panels can give more output, however east/west facing solar arrays are still good at generating the amount of electricity required for an average home or business.

Sorry, you're incorrect! It's fiction.
Unless an export meter (generally systems over 30kw) or smart meter which measures exported electricty is fitted then it is deemed a 50/50 split between the amount of electrity used and exported. Therefore you will be paid the export tariff for 50% of the electricity generated on top of the generation tariff for all generated electricity.

You're right! It's fiction.
Sorry, you're incorrect! It's fact.
Sorry, you're incorrect! It's fiction.
As long as the solar panels are mounted at a pitch greater than 5 degrees then rain water should be sufficient in most cases to clean the panels. While it won’t do any harm to give the panels a clean once a year it may not always be necessary.

For peace of mind and to ensure maximum performance is achieved, an annual or bi annual maintenance service can be carried out on the system. contact us for more deails.

Sorry, you're incorrect! It's fiction.
A standard solar installation requires a grid connection to operate and will not work in the case of a power cut. However battery systems such as the Tesla Powerwall can power the property in the event of a power cut. With this system you can also store the electricity to be used at night time when the solar panels are no longer generating electricity.
