We have installed numerous amounts of these devices and they are particularly useful to be used to heat a secondary device such as an electric towel rail which is heated using excess energy once the Immersion Heater has reached temperature.

The immerSUN monitors the electricity which is about to be exported to the grid and diverts it to the immersion heater. It then automatically directs any excess generated electricity, not used by the house, to the immersion heater in the hot water cylinder.

If the load from the house increases, eg. the washing machine is turned on, the immerSUN will reduce the amount sent to heat water to help you maintain independence from the grid.

This product is similar to the immerSun, but can also work alongside Various Tariffs such as Economy 7. This product can not operate a secondary device.

Solar iBoost uses the energy you are generating from your pv array that you are not otherwise using in the home to heat the water in your tank.

You only need to have a hot water tank with an immersion in your home for you to use Solar iBoost and get even more savings from your investment in PV. In summertime you can expect to get a full tank of hot water if you’re out a lot in the daytime or have a large pv array and low energy usage. In winter, Solar iBoost will use excess pv energy generation to preheat your water so you will still be saving throughout the year.
