Wireless Displays

The wireless display will let you know how your PV system is performing so you can make informed decisions on when and how you use the energy within your home. For example if you can see via your wireless display that your PV system is producing a decent amount of electricity you know it is time to switch on your heavy duty appliances such as washing machines and tumble dryers to take advantage of the free electricity being produced.

PV panels are groups of photovoltaic cells made up of layers of semi-conductive material. When sunlight shines on the panels, photons in the light cause electrons in the panel to move around. The panels then convert the electrons into an electric field creating a current of DC electricity.

So that you can use the energy in your home, a small inverter converts this DC electricity into AC electricity. And any surplus electricity gets exported to the National Grid.
