How much does it cost?

A single room typically runs from £1,500 fully fitted. Two to three rooms from around £3,500. The exact figure depends on the unit, the pipe runs and the access, which is why we survey first and quote second. The quote is fixed. For the full breakdown, read our cost guide.

Does it heat as well as cool?

Yes. These are heat pumps. In winter they pull warmth from the air outside and move it indoors, even on cold days. Plenty of our customers fit them in conservatories and extensions precisely because radiators there are impractical or dear to run.

How long does the installation take?

A standard single-room job takes a day. We mount the indoor unit, fit the outdoor unit, run the pipework through a small hole in the wall, connect the electrics and commission the system. We tidy up after ourselves. Multi-room systems take longer and we’ll confirm timing at survey.

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not. Outdoor units normally fall under permitted development. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some flats are the exceptions. We’ll flag anything relevant at the survey, before you’ve committed to anything.

Will it be noisy?

The Climate 7000i runs from 19dB in silent mode, which most people can’t hear over a quiet room. The outdoor unit makes some noise but we position it away from bedroom windows wherever possible. Placement is part of what the survey sorts out.

Can I spread the cost?
